What makes me different?

My passion for health and fitness started 10 years ago when I started training to improve my strength for rugby at school. This spurred me on to complete my personal training qualifications, falling in love with the ability to help and empower clients to make positive changes to their lives and gain confidence whilst doing so. Seeing my clients reach their goal and living up to their full potential gives me a great sense of pride and fulfilment. 

As time went on I became more aware of how much emphasis was placed on quick fixes and expensive fads in the industry. This approach only works in the short term, if at all, and isn’t maintainable; it leaves people feeling disillusioned and disgruntled. Because of this, I always make sure to educate my clients rather than simply dictating, whilst setting realistic goals that will encourage maximum adherence to a long-term plan for both exercise and nutrition. I make sure that, whatever your goal, you’ll be able to not only reach it but also maintain it too. At the end of the day, I train real people and get real results. 

I specialise in weight-loss and functional fitness. Due to many years of experience, my wealth of knowledge and my real world understanding of training, I am able to design and implement the safest and most effective programmes for all ages and capabilities. I’m ready to motivate and educate you towards success; whatever goal you are pursuing I am confident that I can help you achieve it. 

As well as catering for and optimising omnivorous diets, I am also able to help vegetarians and vegans thrive due to being predominately plant based myself. I believe in holistic nutrition focusing on whole foods which will nourish and fuel our bodies and not hinder our health. However, I know that there needs to be a balance between healthy eating and actually living and enjoying your life; whether it’s a few drinks at the pub or simply rewarding yourself with your favourite takeaway. It is my job to help you find your balance, creating a healthier lifestyle which can be sustained indefinitely.
